So a friend of mine is working on a massive project which is a sequel to his first movie, Fantasize, this sequel is appropriately named Fantasize 2.
It's a rather small project, he shows it at Anime Conventions mostly, but it's his crowning achievement and it shows.
Basically, the gist of the first episode is that Misery, a goth girl, goes on a ballistic rampage killing tiny people in her house. The second episode (this one) deals with her realizing they were REAL people (she thought she was hallucinating) and the whole reason why this whole thing is happening, as well as an even larger ballistic rampage.
It's kind of a surreal psycho-horror thing, a bit of blood but it's mostly cartoony.
ANYWAYS, it's a pretty hefty project and uses a lot of neat tricks - it's 2.5D which means it's 2D characters operating in a 3D environment. He's had custom music made, several voice actors, and he does all the art himself.
