Maybe try out a new hobby or join up a gym or something? Sounds rather cheesy but I joined a boxing gym a while back and it clicked quite well, was the happiest I'd been in a while!
Other than that, it's really difficult for people to say over forums as everyone has their own individual problems.. =(
Another generic response would be maybe to eat healthier, plan out your days, find something to focus on, spend less time infront of PC/Laptop, talk to someone in the same position as you and work your way out of it together, move to somewhere else, go live with some friends or family elsewhere for a while, go travelling, listen to happy music, think really hard and dig deep to find out what's causing the sadness, try finding ways to improve yourself, find something you can work on in the meantime even if depressed so at least you stay productive, get some fresh air, watch funny youtube videos either comedians or pranksters, watch meaningful youtube videos, go to the cinema, just anything really to start a new routine or get you out of your comfort zone.
