I'm not even at 300 frames and I get this message:
There is not enough memory to complete the operation.
To increase available memory, close open documents or quit and increase virtual memory to allow more memory for Flash
How do I fix this?

Browse to your Adobe folder and follow this path:
~\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5.5\Common\First Run\ActionScript 3.0\jvm.ini
Open that and you should see "-Xmx128m" that stands for max of 128 megabytes, just turn it up to like, 512 or something if you have the memory. This should be familial to Minecraft users.
Also, make sure your computer has enough memory, how much does it have. -_-

Right-click and select "Run as Administrator" (on Win 7 systems, not entirely sure if/how that works on Win 8+). Usually, the administrator account has all the privileges on most any given OS.
Thanks for the info! I'm using Flash CS4 and I can't find jvm.ini anywhere. The only file in the path you gave is FlexInfo. In Adobe/Flash CS4/JVM there are some other jvm files like jvm.cfg but they don't have any xmx setting in them. How do I increase Flash CS4's virtual memory?
