It just looks like a fancy granular synth to me. Still the UI looks nice. I think they overplay the whole "look how easy sweeps and what not are, no more of those pesky automations" thing. It's gonna have to get some more interesting percs before it can take me away from Alchemy

It looks ridiculously easy and fun to play with
I've only been playing with it for a few minutes but I already realize this is a goddamn revelation. Dropping random samples into it and playing with it is incredibly inspiring.

The incoherent sentences are actually only my 2nd favourite thing about sugarsimon. My #1 absolute favourite thing is the way he drops an incoherent post and leaves, everyone comments on how incoherent his post is, but he's gone forever from that thread and *never* addresses the fact that everyone is asking him about said post, as if everything is normal and the questioning posts don't exist.
It's all a subtle manipulation of our minds by a master puppeteer.
