Not if you take by demonstration, Cthulhu is more like the Majin Buu of giant society killing monsters where he just regenerates for every single attack.
What you think Cthulhu uses "conventional weaponry"? Are you fucking kidding? He's a psychic God from another dimension he isn't going to be using an AK-47.
My point being that if he tries to outright brawl with Godzilla, he'll likely fail. Godzilla is pretty much the corporeal form of a nuclear explosion.
Just looking at Cthulhu would probably destroy Godzillas tiny mind.
I dunno, Godzilla is relatively mindless, it's possible that since he runs almost entirely on instinct that he may not be effected by Cthulhu's telepathy, either that or he's even more susceptible because of it.
Plus he wouldn't be able to retreat to the ocean without an army of deep ones hassling the shit out of him.
Aren't the "Deep Ones" an afterthought added into Lovecrafts mythology by one of his colleagues after he died?
Godzilla: Large lizard
Cthulhu: Cosmic deity whose dreams our reality is made of; the source of human anxiety; the strongest of men shrivel and descend into insanity in the mere presence of this Being; its real name can not be spoken and its true form can not be comprehended; ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

Godzilla: The corporeal form of a nuclear explosion; born from nuclear fallout; has the ability to channel a nuclear blast into a condensed energy beam; if his body is overworked the nuclear core in his chest will become unstable and result in a nuclear explosion the size of Texas, something of which nothing can survive; not even diamonds can withstand a normal nuclear explosion.

Awesome poster.
Depends. Who goes to the gym most of the time?
Godzilla is a radioactive serpent, Chtulhu is a god.

Now this thread is like a childish debate over whether vanilla or chocolate ice cream is better.
Doesn't Cthulu have madness vision powers or something?
Cthulu would win.

Emma has MANBOOBS!!!! BE AFRAID!
Pfft they both kill each other.
Cthullu for being extremely overrated and for godzilla for being archaic
They'd almost certainly just team up and destroy the world.

Yeah, that doesn't really matter, if he were to flee into outer space, that would mean that Godzilla would have won. Additionally, what if Cthulhu pushed Godzilla's body to the point of self destruction and he were caught at the core of the explosion?
