okay.
i am not understanding this.
it's alright to use racial slurs because they're just words. so, if i say, like, Superabound's mom is a whore. is that okay? i mean, because whore is just another woman who gets paid for passing the pussy. right? she may not get money, but i bet your daddy wouldn't let her stay in the house if she didn't give it out. so therefore, she's whoring herself out for a place to live. see? it all makes sense now.
riight. the N word is a derogatory term, and every time you use it, you are saying "black people are less than. i am better than." i don't think so.
and while you thought it may have been "fun" and "exciting" to bring up an issue such as this, just for shits and giggles to see who would respond, you got the correct response. a bunch of people standing up for their beliefs. so what if we don't have every single fact straight? you don't know everything either, and the only way anyone learns anything is by listening to what's around them.
about the other nationalities who have had problems. yes, the Chinese "Coolies" were forced to work on the railroad. i don't think anyone's denying that. the Japanese and Japanese Americans were forced to internment camps like Manzanar. i don't debate that. but putting up one mass human tragedy against another doesn't make any one better or lesser.
know anyone that died? i do. my brother was beaten and stabbed to death. when your family member/friend/whoever died, it probably fucken hurt. i know it hurt when my brother died. does it mean my tragedy is worse than yours? no. because everyone's own worst tragedy is their own. there is no comparison. the enslavement of the blacks is no more a tragedy than the oppression felt by the Irish. Tiananmen Square is just as sorrowful and shameful as the Holocaust. don't take the "my tragedy is worse than your tragedy" tack, or "their tragedy is worse than so-and-so's" because it doesn't work that way. when you start comparing things like that, you lose all humanity and revert back to something like a 5 year old playing "my truck is bigger than your truck."
and another thing. slavery in Africa 400 years ago was very different from slavery in the US. slavery in Africa was often based from tribal wars and the slavery was more symbolic, as a way of showing who had won a war, and who had dominion over a particular area. there was never wholesale abuse and sale of slaves like that, and what's more, the earliest blacks in America lived alongside the whites and there was no dissention. when the traders came to get more slaves, the Africans assumed they (the whites) would treat them as they (the Africans) had. you see, until the money issue was realized, slavery was indentured servitude, and there were whites as well as blacks in the mix.
what about in Europe just a century ago, when some poor person who couldn't pay their bills was thrown into debtor's prison or forcibly made to serve some "higher ups?" that's just as much enslavement. and it's just as wrong. would you argue, then, that if some black folk came and stole some Europeans and turned them into slaves, it's alright because the Europeans did it first? i think not.
your arguments could be good if they stood for somethng more than a cursory retaliation against good reason and sound logic. yeah, you ARE 19, if not younger, because you should be thinking about wide range and long term, not just "well, what about...?" there is a lot more to every story than you are even acknowledging, and in this, you show your ignorance. much moreso than those who think bigger and spell incorrectly, because grammar and spelling are just vehicles to convey whole thought, something to which you apparently aren't really accustomed yet.
