Unfortunately, we need a judge for the auditions too, so you either don't compete for the competition in general, or you compete and don't judge.
I think however that if by chance we don't get another judge, and you don't make it into the competition after the auditions, we might let you judge. However if someone else offers to judge full time, you won't be chosen as a judge, sorry.
Well even if I don't get it orifice I get it and lose early on, I'll still help out like I have with the last couple contests. I'll help keep a list of the songs and other stuff, since I know you guys will be having a lot of fun swimming through all of the songs lol

Has anyone thought about maybe submitting a Flash that summarizes the results after the contest is over? Tell me if this sounds stupid, but I think it'd be kinda cool:
Just set up a little viewer that shows who competed each round, who won, how much they won by, and a sample/link of the song they submitted. I think it'd be really neat, and Tom would definitely promote it... Probably front page it, even. It'd be cool for future years, too, to show an example of how the contest works. Not to mention, it'd be really neat to look at that instead of scrolling through several threads of forum content.
It was just a thought I had today, but something I felt should be mentioned. Tell me what you think!
I'm currently without my computer that has my DAW on it, but I'm in the process of getting one asap. If for whatever reason I don't have one by the deadline, I'll withdraw before the 32 competitors are announced.

In all seriousness though, this could actually work out, but It'll have to be done at the very end of the competition to show a summary of all that happened and stuff. We'll look into it and see if we find anyone willing to help. Thanks for the suggestion ;)
