Welcome to: evil balloon's art thread! (fyi the other thread wasn't my art thread!) at this point I think Ive improved a lot.. I done a bit of life drawing and realistic drawings and listens to people's comments and I think im ready to go! (I hope!) Now the first thing I will do is show my wips in my sketchbook!(which theres is alot!) then revise my old drawings on newgrounds if I have the chance..also in the end of the week I will draw my favorite user of the day with my imagintion (crap Im busy).... well I think im done. now onto shroombot's(hes still a wip) stupid rules!

Now Im my time its almost the end of the week so my favorite user is handsome cat! not because of his art... but because if you put him in a cartoon hes quite interesting!

Handsome cat is known for stealing other peoples art and claiming it as his own.. he uses his eye of trace to capture the picture and then traces the art horribly.. Handsome cat can also shapeshift into different accounts such as yiffer, team rate, and kitten.. but can be spotted easily by his original crappy art.

You're definitely improving with your work. Drawings are more refined, but they still look like loose sketches. What you'll want to do is make a proper clean lineart for the picture and some cleaner colouring.

I suggest trying this out on your own and posting it here, so we can give you some feedback.

Hey. You got some skill. Couple of things to help you get the most out of the forums.

1) Don't expect people to give you in depth feedback on a sketch. If you want us to really take the time. You got show us it's worth it. That you took the time first. You can do this by posting finished pieces.

2) Don't be anxious. And don't expect much. There are a lot of people vying for attention here. If you don't get a response right away don't bump your own thread just to keep it up. If you want our attention get it by being excellent.

3) Be active in critiquing other peoples artwork. Show us that your gonna give back what you get.

Always keep in mind that we aren't here for you. Show us something final. Something that you really took some time to finish, and you're much more likely to get some good feedback.

Thanks for the tips! (sorry but I have a patience of a 2 year old and get exicted just for one to pm me) (as mentioned in other thrread) but anyways heres the final artwork that I did in a measly 25 minutes... sorta looks like mindchamber would do this... dont you think?

Make a fist. Now looks at your drawing. Then draw it again :P
The thumb should be higher (halfway between joints).
Try with paper and pencil, scan it, then darken the photos so you can see them, unlike your TurkeyonaStick character :/

Well, unnecessary bumps will most likely get you less replies or at least replies not related to you art.

If you are out of digital art to post, you could finish one of the many pieces you posted already. They are all not bad and it would be a shame to let them all go to waste.
