The site's users have helped countless users with 'street cred' in the past, we've saved peoples pets, helped them make their mortage etc etc etc. In the end its an individual decision if you decide to do it or not and nobody's forcing you to do anything.

That is what it costs to get a computer for him to do his work properly. Simple as that.

Getting a 'cheaper' computer doesnt really resolve anything if it doesnt enable him to produce the quality of work people have come to expect and with the efficiency people have come to expect. I'd normally label these sort of things as pan handling if people actually hadnt proven their worth, but thatcomposerguy has and is probably why tom plugged him in his front page post. He's done music work for a ton of highly successful flash games/movies/series, probably some that you didnt even know he was part of.

Look nobody's asking you to front it all and buy this guy a computer, donate 25 dollars if you feel like it or dont. If he meets his goal, he'll get his equipment and if he doesnt then he wont, the end. It just kinda irks me when people bash people who've tirelessly have contributed their talents to the site when they come under financial distress. Specially from kids who've done nothing but contribute stickam thread posts ;)

I contributed material for an award winning flash back in like 2009. Can't find it now due to my account being rearranged when shit came back at me for me feeding the mods info on crebz activities and was caught due to the fact that a silly mod was phished.
