strectch effect? 2011-04-23 18:49:10

Its hard to explain sort of, so ill try, you know how in certain flashes when someone is shocked they will kinda stretch up and then go back into place? I'd like to know how to do that, anyone who understands this question, can you help me out?

You can stretch things in Flash by using the transform tool. It will create a box around the selected object with 8 squares around the outside. Just click and drag on those little squares to stretch, squish, skew, rotate, mirror, etc.

As said before, just use the transform tool and drag your mouse. Although, i would advise against this because it will completely destroy any art you have created by changing proportions and what not. I wouldn't recommend stretching anything too much otherwise it distorts it. This also goes for text, that has to be the most annoying thing ever when people stretch their text.

Anyway, do you have an example of what you mean?
