So I did Vaermina's quest where you have to destroy the Skull of Corruption because it's causing nightmares in the nearby city (although I wouldn't really call Dawnstar a city).
I decided to take the Skull with me, and brought it to my Whiterun home. I put it in a chest, saved and quit the game, and went to bed.

And the I had nightmares.

Holy shit I just fast-travelled to Solitude and a Frost Dragon attacked! Like actually attacked the inner city, I didn't think they could do that. It was awesome to say the least.

Doesn't really count, as everything was randomly generated pretty much. Daggerfall actually encompassed the whole of Tamriel, technically.

No, it encompasses parts of Hammerfell and High Rock, as Wolfos said. Arena was the one that had the whole of Tamriel in it.

Today I learned the quest "A Night to Remember" is an homage to The Hangover. I won't give away spoilers but the ending of the quest was really awesome.

I'd like to see all of Morrowind in the next game, with maybe some ship/boat aspect to it.

There's a guy named Sam Guevenne in the inn in one of the cities, who challanges you to a drinking game. I think his location is randomized by radiant storytelling, but I met him in Falkreath.

Morrowind is mostly destroyed/inhabitable now that the red mountain has exploded.
I doubt they'll revisit Morrowind, I think they'll do something new. Valenwood maybe?

Pretty much this, except I met him in the Bannered Mare at Whiterun

You play as the same character as the one in Skyrim, but older. Taking the fight to the elves.

Found a way to sync saves using Dropbox. It's sad Steam Cloud isn't enabled, could've saved me from downloading multiple games (and their source code) I'm working on which I don't need on this computer just to get started on syncing my stuff.

Dropbox manages to download at 2KB/s sometimes, which only happens to me on Windows.

Is there a place where I can sell my stuff where the merchant has an infinite, or at least really high, amount of money? Cause I've got sooooo many gems and various other loot to sell and I don't want to have to go to, like, 10 stores.

The guy working the Skyforge generally has a lot of money for me, otherwise you'll just have to wait until your speech is higher and store those gems at home like I am.

I thought it was a bug when he knocked me that high up. I guess I should have made a fatter character. I want to see someone melee and kill a giant on master 1v1. I only killed him on apprentice with that OP magic.

After reading up a bit, I realised just how shitty things got after the fall of the Septim Dynasty. Black Marsh, Elswyr, Valenwood, Hammerfell and Summerset Isle ALL seceded from the Empire. Plus Summerset Isle was renamed Alinor after the Thalmor (agents of the Aldmeri Dominion) took it over and the majority of Morrowind was either destroyed or left uninhabitable after thr eruption of Red Mountain. Now Skyrim is in the midst of a civil war after their high king was killed and is considering seceding as well. Not good times for Cyrodiil.

So everyone, what's your political view? Should Skyrim secede as well, or cling on to the last shred of hope that the Empire can still succeed?

What does it require to become a Thane in Solitude/Haafingar? Because one of my miscallenious quests has bugged out and I can't complete it, making me worried that I can't become a Thane if it requires completing enough miscallenious quests in that hold.

seeing it being stuck in my log with 4/5 or something would drive me crazy

I always think highly of the empire in TES, and they are always a powerful faction present, so I mostly side with it on all the games. I preferred how their soldiers looked in Morrowind though, since they resembled more like Roman Empire soldiers, which they're pretty much based on I suppose.

Actually, I like the history of The Elder Scrolls series.

It has a huge amount of lore, but unlike other games, it's not shoved down your throat, nor is it pushed into a corner. It's successfully integrated into the gameplay.

Anyone think we'll ever see the rest of Nirn?
