Also check out this PETA Tofu Boy game and Edmund's post about it.
Peta's just a bunch of peters.
A paedophile story was actually really good; not what I expected, but it was my favorite

Paging Dr. Seuss is definitely my pick out of this group, no question.

So many good submissions!
I'm actually a little shocked to see Cooljaw in there, so thanks anonymous staff member who included it in their.
I'm also really glad "lines in time" got in there, that was one of the few cartoons that really got to me,
it had a simple yet gorgeous aesthetic, it was also a very well animated, and despite being very terse conveyed the story in a fantastic manner.
If Cooljaw wins I think I'll send the creator of "lines in time" a portion of the monies I receive.
The other submissions aren't bad though most of them like the "ratbook" guys are really cool.
That is all...

Also Edmund is a badass...

I think it's just too broad, to the point that either a handful of submissions could get good exposure, or a ton of submissions could get small opportunities for exposure. If we do switch to a quarterly format and only allow submissions from the past quarter, I think we'll have a much smaller pool and focus a better light on the best overlooked submissions... I hope anyway. :)
I have taken the time to watch nearly all of the treasure hunt flashes posted on the frontpage. Some were good, some were bad, but there was no clear winner that I felt warranted me to speak up.
That changed when I watched theratbook's "A paedophile story". It is a complete mystery how such a marvel of a flash made it through the portal with under 4000 views and no awards... It is one of the finest pieces of animation I've ever seen on this website, or anywhere for that matter. The visuals are astonishingly masterful, and perhaps more importantly, the message is powerful and eye-opening.
I think "A Paedophile Story" is the clear winner of the 2010 treasure hunt, and I would even have considered it a contender for the annual tank awards in 2009, when it was submitted, had it not been so tragically overlooked.
Sincerely,
Zombie-Pimp

Unfortunately, Team Meat has not announced a PSN version of Super Meat Boy, though if you have a Wii, Xbox 360, or a PC, you can get it from each console's download stations. I'm guessing you don't have either of those, though :(
