I think the issue is more that I didn't curve the back of the hand enough, rather than whether the palm is angled towards the viewer or not. But thanks for the critique.

Haha, that style is starting to fall in line with my own a little bit. I like the bubbly friendly toon looks. They tend to be naturally more expressive (at least to my eye).

I really like your work! So varies but all very good! Just wondering what software do you use to draw? I'd love to be able to find some tutorials on how to draw like the latest style you have been posting. (The cute style aswell as the smoking girl style). Keep it up I look forward to seeing more!

I've been drawing cartoons for the entirety of my artistic career.

In general, these days, I try and match the style I'm drawing in with is needed in whatever drawing or project I'm working on, whether that be more cartoony or less cartoony (but still fairly cartoony).

Thanks. I primarily use Manga Studio for line art, and Photoshop for everything else.

As far as I know, there aren't any tutorials on how to draw like me. I barely even know how to draw like me. I'm flying by the seat of my pants here.

I also don't think you should be using any tutorials on how to draw in certain styles. Learn how to do the basics, and then experiment with 'style' yourself. It's much more rewarding that way.
