3.91 / 5.00 23,530 ViewsThis was a damn good movie...Almost a cult-classic in my eyes...I know the previews make it look like a lil' kids action movie type bullshit thing...IN ALL REALITY THOUGH IT IS VERY ENTERTAINING! The movie is rated R...and with good cause....I don't want to spoil anything so if you go to the movies, screw Nightmare on Gay street, Robin Fag, AND Prince of Bootysmell....WATCH KICK-ASS !!YAY!!
If you can't fuck it or eat it....destroy it
I saw it.
It was like being raped in my eye sockets.
The theme song by Mika rocks. Still haven't seen the movie.
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.
Stuff you don't care about
I don't know why you guys are being so negative-ish about it. I think it was one of the most entertaining movies of this year (thus far).
I loved the scene where Hitgirl cleared that room of bad guys with those dual-blades. The music in that scene was awesome :p

I'm hesitant to say it was one long cliché as I know the automated response to that is that it's a satire. Whether or not it's a satire it was still a tedious storyline we've all heard/seen before. In this area there really was nothing entertaining or interesting.
Yeah I can agree that it was a bit standard and predictable. Although I did laugh a few times at how they continued with this main character being gay joke until right before the end. On top of that it was only a side-story, it didn't really play a major role in the movie.
As for the main story, I found that just OK. There were a couple of good action scenes (though I wasn't sure what reusing the soundtrack to 28 days later was all about), and the storyline was certainly more interesting.
Of course the story was no literary masterpiece, but these kind of comedy/parody/action movies you usually don't watch for the story. Or least I usually don't, and when it comes to simply entertaining the audience I think the movie succeeded very well.
The humour lacked again. I didn't find a 13 year old saying 'cunts' offensive like some, I just didn't find it funny. Other than I guess the humour was in the surrealism, but that's a bit trying.
I didn't actually pay any attention to that. I don't know if that was meant as a joke, probably just to shock and characterize the girl. Also I did find the surrealism funny in most scenes, but I guess that's just having a different sense of humor.
All opinions of course.
Fair enough :)

Oh, and grab his cock.
fucking disgusting!!
I thought the film was hilarious.
I know it's dumb, but I thought the little girl killing a whole bunch of dudes set to happy music was hilarious.
And man, that was Nicholas Cage at his best.
It was much better than that shitty boring comic.
Of course the romance plotline was awful, but I forgave it.

HAHAHA YEAH YOUR A GIRL LOL YEAH NOT AN 11 YEAR OLD BOY YEAH AHA KISS ME?
I really liked it and I'll proudly whore my review. Roger Ebert didn't like it mostly because of the violent and swearing preteen Hit-Girl. I disagreed with him and I still don't understand two things in his review that I wrote about in the last paragraph.
