Scary water creatures!

Hey!

I have this weird phobia for underwater creatures of many sorts in games. It all started with the eel in Jolly Roger Bay, when it popped up in my screen and scared me shitless, a lot of years ago.

The giant Slaughterfish in Oblivion scared me for some reason, the huge underwater boss in Twilight Princess scared the hell out of me, too. Heck, I was even scared of the Firaxan sharks in Knights of the old republic.

I can't help but feel some degree of fascination for these things, though, so I'm wondering if you guys have examples of games including large/scary underwater creatures/bosses? If so, what game(s) and what creature(s)? :) (If you remember, what part of the game does it appear in?)

When I was little, I was scared so much of Gryorg, the water temple boss of Majora Mask... But some time ago I finished Majora Mask and kicked the shit out of him

I was pretty scared of Gyorg, myself. I went back to playing it years later and beat him, though.

Just yesterday I started the Knights of the Nine questline in Oblivion.

On my way to the Priory of the Nine, I came across two lakes with a waterfall between them.

I was just looking at it because those are rare in Oblivion, then this motherfucker jumped off of it to get at me and I had to fight him in the water.

The Slaughterfishes in Oblivion scare the living crap out of me. It's so murky and dark and then BAM! big ugly fishface covers your vision. AARGH!

There's a bit with a giant catfish that's like 20 times your size, I'm always like "OH SHIT OH SHIT" whenever I fall into the water.

loved that ame, but i hated the part where you had to get the giant manta ray to block the giant eel. i nvever got past that part, cause i only rented the game, but it was fun. The great white was a scary fucker for me.

That eel still gives me chills in Super Mario 64. I was too afraid to play in that level until I was 10 years old.

By my worst underwater creature, is the five second timer above your head in the Sonic games as you run out of breath. In Sonic 2, it was loud and got your blood pumping! Because the air bubbles underwater only came out when they felt like it.

That fucking fish in Jak and Daxter:the Precursor Legacy . Everytime you swam into deep water you would hear heartbeats then CRUCH, you've been eaten.

Anything underwater in Twilight Princess freaked me out. Water people were weird.

Probably because i have a phobia of fish, for the most part. I can't look at photos of fish without getting the jeepies. Swimming with fish freaks me out.
