So any update on pics? Any sneak previews of your work yet? ;)

Response to Quick StopMotionTutorial- Clay&Lego 2004-08-24 03:22:22

Ummm... Well I could post something but the animation is pretty short and sucky for a preview on it. I could actually post the whole flash except I gotta add the sound and stuff. Its only a 30 second thing I did real quick (well, a few hours) trying to come up with some good ideas.

Ill have to read up on what you use monkey jam for... I kinda forgot to use it. I just imported each picture from trickcam into liveswif (one by one) and it ended up being 300 frames exactly. Gotta figure out how to record with my mic so I can make him talk and add other sound but other than that its not bad for my first flash and first stop motion I guess.

Well no rush :) I was just currious about the picture quality :)

Well, I havent done anything lately, but here is the stuff the kids made yesturday at the Birthdayparty of my future-parents-in-law ;-)

My girlfriend and I had both hands full with keeping those kids buisy, I tell you that, but it was fun (even though not enough time and only one pc & cam)

Astonishing how fast some of the kids got the hang of it.
My youngest "student" was 5... fun fun :-)

I think I might try this soon... I made my History Day Project out of claymation once... Anyhoo... Yeah. Trying Monkeyjam, seeing as the site for anasazi is down.

Response to Quick StopMotionTutorial- Clay&Lego 2004-09-08 18:07:48

SMA/Anasazi can be found on other sites, but i really recomend monkeyjam and/or in combination with TrickfilmCam from http://labs.dacamyo.net/mo/show.php?act=trick&lang=english ;)

Hey, I'm here... *dusts of favorite thread* -there- now, was there a question?

Response to Quick StopMotionTutorial- Clay&Lego 2006-04-09 12:25:37

Hello once again, I am digging up the old thread to announce that the "Klay Klub"

(Whats so cool about spelling Clay with K anyway?)

will make a movie, providing a short 20 second audio clip all animators will use.
it is not limited to clay, however, someone said Lego is not permited here anyomre (?).

Information:
http://newgrounds.co..d=452176&page=17

Inofficial site with information and a preview on the rules
Main page: k.wap.cc
Collab-Thread: kkc.wap.cc

Have a nice day!

Buy some van aken clay or pastalina clay. It NEVER hardens.

If your on a mac these steps will be a bit simpler (and compatible :P):
Use your iSight (the little camera in all mac machines made after 06) and Photobooth.app (in your Applications folder) Then, in Photobooth press the big red camera icon to take pictures, take as many as you need for your movie,
drag all the photos from the bottom of the Photobooth window into a folder somewhere;

next open up Quicktime Player.app (also in apps folder) and navigate to File > Open Image Sequence you should get a prompt asking where your images are, navigate to the folder with all the images in it, press okay, choose a framerate
Your movie will now be compiled, test it out and change the fps if necessary and then goto File > Save As... choose somewhere to export too (the default export settings should do fine)
and then your done!

Optionally you can next import to the flash authoring tool and upload to NG.

hope that helps someone :P
