The head is composed of the puffy cranium of an octopus, the mouth is from a sabretooth tiger, or other large feline, the tongue is of a snake (did that on a whim). The front feet are from a seagull (for some reason, I like seagulls), the back feet are from a three-toed box turtle (I have one of those, he's a cute little guy). The body is of a green iguana, and the tail is the head of a spade-headed garden worm.

This Chimera is known as the Torgion. It is a mix of a tortoise, eagle, and lion, and it is a terror of the seas. Although it has wings, it cannot fly, and uses them simply to gain massive amounts of speed on the ocean surface. It is about the size of an SUV, and preys on birds, fish and floating driftwood.

Aigis : is cute still looks like a little tiger cub tho, don't see much rabbit in there except maybe if you count the pose. the thing under its neck looks like its tail is strangling it. but nice idea.

altrain: very elegant design the tail is a bit massive around the base but meh it adds to it. i like that all the parts are part of one animal and you can see them clearly and not just different parts stuck together.

Rhunyc: that dog head looks so familiar! like some cartoon i used to watch maybe. oh well, i like all the parts except the rabbit ears look like normal dog ears. maybe pointing them up a bit. i like the creepy vibe that its a deep sea creature type.

Hyptosis: yikes combining two deadly creatures hehe. less is more. i like that you only used two instead of a whole bunch of creatures. made your creature more believable and the rendering is awesome.

Posca : i like the pose , looks a bit traced tho the head part. the rendering could use some work too. nice idea tho i've seen some gorreagle's before.

Wivernryder: should've finished, and maybe draw the head at a 3/4 angle instead of straight forward cause its hard to see the octopus worm combo.

Cloudeater: looks neat you could've referenced some actual animal and given it a bit more texture instead of just a green snout. nice idea

hound-of-soundwave: i like that you try to blend the zebra pattern on its head the eyes and wings are neat too. i don't get whats happening on the lower left of the hive and the ground.

ashman112: i can see the different parts but i think someone mentioned before it looks like a normal fish. which in this case might be a bad thing maybe you just really nailed down the realism and made it believable hehe. also it would be nice to see the entire creature.

havegum: well whatever it was its dead now. ha. are those people hands?

Doodoomeat: sweet! that one creeped me out a bit. can definately see the octopus influence and i really like the rendering done on the mouth part. looks real fleshy and playing with light. you're rendering is getting awesome man.

Awesomesaurus: cool glad you finished it i was lurking around in your art thread hehe. i really like the texture, the angle and the use of the fur in places. it came out really cool. tho the wings kinda threw me off they looked like giant pincers to me hehe. but great job man

J-Qb: did you reference the pose? i like the depth it has. see you blended the head and the body nicely with the same color and similar-ish texture then it just looks like a lobster was stuck in its bum and its screaming in pain. not good. hehe if you'd kept the same colors or blended them nicely with fur or something it would have still read as lobster but as part of one creature. i like this concept tho.

JackDGreatest: i like the idea you should've finished and studied each animals anatomy.

I vote Aigis - he has mannaged to create a creature that somehow looks plauseable and harmonic even though it is made out of so many different parts, so kudos.. But the tail looks a bit flat.

I really like altrian's entry. I love the concept, and the execution is wonderful.

My only complaint is that it looks like all of the pieces fit together. Except for the wings and wolf feet, these pieces seem like they belong to one creature.
