Yeah there's too much going on in terms of colour, try flattening them a little...

This text is in bold, which makes me aweso and your statement irrelevant.
Instead of just trying to use every colour, you should use similar colours or not so many contrasting colours. It would also be a lot better if instead of just making a random pattern you tried to make it look like a scene or symbol or something along those lines.

I agree, perhaps if some colors were darker it wouldn't be such a strain on the eyes. It looks like you spent a good amount of time on it though, and that shows dedication to your artwork.
You can only get better through your mistakes, remember that.
