background is alright but the character could use a little work. If you really want to make a side view of him, at least make him curve like an actual human being. Right now he looks like a match stick.
The text color could use some changing. It's too bright and it doesn't fit very well with the scene.

Heh. I hope you didn't lock the layers so you can fix the typo.
All in all, it's pretty good. My only beef is the hair looks a little out of place with the style of the rest of the pic. I like it though.

You mean merge? You can still unlock layers if you locked them
