i don't think a nintendo ds stylus would work as most tablets use pens with small magnets in them so that the pen doesn't need power, it really depends what tablet your using

try different things out, maybe an empty ballpoint pen, a pda stylus.
People could help you find a replacement pen better if you stated what tablet your using
(This isn't a malicious reply)

Im using a trust tablet, an oldish one like 3 year old
ohhh and my old pen had a battery and two buttons on it for left a right click... if that helps lol
it might be quite hard to replace if it uses a battery as that probably means the pen has to communicate with the tablet to know its position

I lost my pen for my Trust TB-3100 Tablet a year or two ago, after I while I just bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet and I do not regret my decision in any way.
I only really bought that Trust Tablet to see if I liked using graphics tablets anyway, I didn't want to spend >£100 without knowing on my first tablet.
yea i saw a lot of people raving about them, cheap but good?

I got mine before the rave tbh :]
The main point is that Wacom tablets are always good, always reliable, always quality and always robust (not to mention the fact the pens don't need batteries).
The Wacom Bamboo is just the budget tablet from Wacom which still holds true to all of the above comments, and the aspect ratio is a nice 16:10 (PC widescreen).
I don't really know what else to say about it tbh, because it just works & works well :D
well thanks for the advice i will take a look, probably buy one just cus mine is kinda rubbish anyway.

technological understatement of the century. actually theyre coils of copper wire which interact with a field from the screen... i know this cause my old one broke in half lol. you can buy replacement ones from whoever makes ur tablet.

Cant actually find a replacement :(
I just recently went from two Aipteks to a Wacom Bamboo. The Bamboo outshines both tablets by 100 miles. Sure, one was 9x12 and the other 6x8 but they were too big for the way I draw and they needed batteries for the pens... WTF. The Bamboo is designed for Widescreen, (which I recently switched to) and the pen doesn't need a battery. Perfect size, convenient... What more could I want? Oh, it also looks sexy as hell!
I'd consider switching/upgrading.
