Hello Newgrounds! I am here to present my first solo-hosted collab!
Now then lets get down to my stats... To avoid questioning:
Collab Rules & My Current Stats
1. A Batting-Average of 3.50 of higher.
At the time of this post, my batting average was 3.5
2. A solo submission with a score of 3.50 or higher.
At the time of this post, my highest scoring solo submission had a score of 3.81.
* Statistics recorder on April 14,2009 at ~8:30 PM Eastern - Actual and current statistics may vary.
Introduction -
OK so now onto the collab theme/rules/ect.
This collab will be themed around Pico Day, which is scheduled for April 30,2009. I will accept 20 of the best parts. I am the one who judges the parts. As you know, quality pictures can be huge file sizes, I will not waste 8+MB of Flash Portal space for sucky art.
Co-Authors -
9 Co-Authors will be chosen.
Co-Authors will be determined under two different categories.
If you made a piece of art -
Your art must score in the top-most categories on my rubric. (see Rubric below)
You must comply with all of the requirements listed here. (see Artist requirements below)
If you made a piece of music (specifically for this collab) -
If you do not include - sex, drugs, adult themes (anything above PG-13), racism, and comply with the Newgrounds Rules, you be awarded with instant Co-Author status.
Regulations/Requirements -
- You must use the 550x400 Picture Frame I have made to fit around your artwork.
- No Nudity
- No Racism
- Nothing considered above PG-13 ratings
- No Spam
- No Art that breaks Newgrounds Flash Rules (Bestiality, Child Pornography, ect.) - Read more on the Flash Submit Page
- Theme your art around Pico, Tankmen, Dad 'n' Me, or the Bots
- Have a good time while doing this
- Get along with everyone else
To Join -
- As I said earlier, I refuse to submit 8 Megs of S.P.A.M into the Flash Portal... Be prepared to present links to two of your best works.
- Be dedicated to this collab... Do not drop out at the last minute...

- I refuse to download from an unknown hosting site... I don't want to crash my computer for the sake of a collab...

I will accept all image formats except raw .psd's
I can also accept .fla files dated for CS3 or earlier.
Start Date/Deadline -
- This is a serious thing to me. I will not accept any art after the deadline.
- Start Date is as soon as you finish reading this post
- Deadline is April the 26th at 6:00PM
- Due to time-zone differences and clock synchronization errors, I am giving a half-hour redemption period. You will be treated as any other artist if you submit your work within 20 minutes of the deadline expiring. If you submit your work anytime between 21 and 30 minutes of the deadline expiring, you will be denied Co-Authorship.
Profits/Revenue/Licensing -
- The work will be URL secured through Actionscript, it will only appear on Newgrounds.
- There is no revenue, this is a non-funded project.
Rubric for Art -
- Clearly took more than five minutes to make.
- Was clearly free of any crucial mistakes
- Does not exhibit: Pornography, Child Pornography, Excessive Swearing, Drug Use, Beastiality, ect.
- Stays true to the topic regarding: Pico, Tank-Men, Dad 'n' Me, or the Bots
- Is properly presented through the suggested hosts, has average rendering quality, and is not spam
Thats a Five-Sided Curve, you have 20 points for each, I will put all art through this system. The top nineteen will accompany my piece in the collab.
The top nine (or eight dependant on Audio Credits) will be awarded Co-Author status.
Remember to have fun with this. I will give a finalized list of all the grades of the art about 2 days after the deadline.
