I have a question for audio aficionados:
How do you convert FLACs to mp3s and vice versa? I have some FLACs I want to put on my iPod, but first I have to convert them to a recognizable format, and Audacity won't do the job without screwing everything up.
Get All2Lame. Then, get the Flac Codec.
From there, go into All2Lame, click "Locations," find ".flac," and browse for the "flac.exe" file. Now, you can drag and drop the .flac files into All2Lame, and click "Encode" to convert.
Make sure to specify encoder settings (switches). In that bar, use "-v0" for quality and "-v2" for filesize.

Sorry to do this to you, but there are no instructions on the site as to how to set switches. I got the program and encoders, but I'm stuck when it comes time to convert. It just spits out worthless 625-byte files.
Just get MediaCoder - it's free. Use it for just about everything really: video/picture/audio transcoding...
