This is my first rough draft. My best drawing is on paper since obviously the mouse isn't the same. The thing on the head is crown, he is holding a fairy wand, and around his waist is a duck floatie. I'm hoping this comes out extremely well. Luckily I just got access to a scanner yesterday. Woot. Contest is heated.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to make it smaller and easier to see.

I noticed a lot of people draw you as fat and obese-like. I see why they do that. They can see your face mostly, and your baggy clothes, and you are large-ish, so they suspect you are fat under. That is total crap. Just because you have a general "large" look, does not mean that. First thing I did was observe you, yes, observe, what any person should do. Find the true aspects of you, although it is hard when you don't have a picture of you half naked, but thats the challenge. I went through all your wife's (if I am correct, as I saw a wedding picture with you in a fake tuxedo and her in a brides dress, unless it was just another convention) pictures, and found the best, and just compiled a folder of your and observe what I can. It really does help.

I want to show why, so let me break it down.

First, observe Tom's and Edmunds arms. Notice something? They are the same size. Actually, Tom's arms are a little more fattened, while Edmund's are more muscularly built.

Second, look at both of their faces. Tom's face is in more, his jaw bone is about aligned with his neck, making him seem average or skinnier. Edmunds face on the other hand, more specifically is jaw bone, precedes his neck, making his face seem wider and therefore making people conclude that he is large.

Inclusively, observe their shoulders. Tom's shoulders are a bit more sticking straight out, making his chestal area seem smaller because of the illusion. Edmunds shoulders are more rounded and therefore, what do most people associate round with? Big. Since his shoulders are rounded, and it generally gives his body look a more round disposition, it gives the illusion of him being large.

Last, look at Tom's belly. That ribbon is Curving! Around what? His bellay! Okay, maybe thats not so true.

Alrighty, just take three breaths and calm down. I'm all for drawing people anatomically correct, but you don't need to draw him correctly for a chance to win this contest. Look at the third rule he posted: "3. Humor is awarded above technical skill."

Also, he called himself fat somewhere in his post on the contest page. Whether you want to go by that or not is up to you.

I understand that. I'm saying that about every person (with the exception of the female body and the ripped guy) drew him fat, which seems as if they just looked a quick glance, and drew him up. I'm not critisizing anyones work. I'm only helping out the others.

heh, yeah honestly im a big guy and dont mind if people view me as fat, and i did point out the fact that i am fat because i think people would have a lot more fun with those larger then life proportions.
