when it comes to gabber kicks i prefer to synthesize them, i don't think there is any other way to get the exaggerated sound i'm going for. it's not exactly what you'd call a classic gabber kick, but fuck we're living in the 21st century ;D

you could achieve the same thing maybe using the old favourite 909 kick drum samples, but putting an exaggerated pitch envelope on them. when i do my gabber kicks they tend to sweep through a good few octaves in the first 50-100ms before they settle on a fundamental

Maybe it's because xKore kept his Newgrounds name when he went into full-time gigging/producing. I keep as much track of Space Laces as I do of xKore. I actually think Space Laces is doing better than xKore. Hell, he collaborated with Downlink and Excision!
