This doesn't do it for me, sounded like you picked up a program for the first time and went at a pattern, WHICH isn't bad but submitting something thats not mastered and lacks any melodic instrument is very risky.

The only thing I could see this pattern going on is a menu for a flash game or movie. MAYBE

The fact that it took to long to get to the beat on a short song was a draw back but it could easily be used as a beat to another song with some synthesizer in there and it would be a good beat.
