Made for a friend who might just use it as a theme for a series of indie films
Slow to start
This really is a good song, but the first 1:20 minutes desperately need to be condensed. Not because its particularly bad, but because the melody that kicks in is AWESOME. Too bad we only get to hear it for 40 seconds :( I can't remember the composer's name, but have you ever seen Pi or Requiem for a Dream? The melody reminds me of that composer's approach. Oh, one final note: I liked the outro, as short as it was. (I'm talking about 2:00; it capped off the song very well).
hmmm. I can understand that. I think i was jsut being lazy when it came to this song, It was a first for using that specific sample for the melody, and i guess i was a bit over anxious to get a track out to really care to make more verses. Had i of made another verse or two, the insanely long intro would not have been there. But i figured.....eh....lots of other slack-offs ive seen posting sogns like this have insanely stupid long intros.....i guess one of mine can one for once. Lol, i should probably stop doing that, as im trying to create my own personal method of making music.
Doesnt do much good imitating others lol.
As for the two bands, no, i cant say i've heard them. Almost all of my techno is inspired by pure thought and experimentation. I dont normally sit down and analyze how others compose their music unless im in my friends car as he exlodes techno *other than music like the night at the roxburry music, baby dont hurt me....stuff like that, i just jam to those XD* so most of my stuff might sound like other things by coincidence O.o;
And whats this??? An outro someone actually likes XD I guess that means im takign a step in the right direction when it comes to those!! Glad you liked it!!
