Its really nice. Pretty interesting, but its miscellaneous for a reason. Maybe even ambient if it was a little quieter.
Anyway, there are methods of normalizing the song. First, I would lower the volume of the master a tad, and add a 'soft clipper' on it. Next, putting a EQ on the fx# or the master could help you control it as well.
But to tell you the truth, im not the best at it either :P

I really love this! It's almost too funky, there's a strong groove but you can barely hold on to it; it seems like it's going to spin out of control any second. The melody is absolutely CRUSHING. This is heavier than a lot of the heavy metal on this site. I gave a lowish score for clarity because there seems to be some unintentional distortion, like something is overloading. I would love to hear a cleaned-up version!
Thank you for the positive feedback. Not all the distortion was unitentional, but some is. I have never been too good at mastering up my songs. I can never star out of the red. If your interested in collaborating on something let me know. I use Reason and Fruity loops. Oh and I played and listen to Metal all my life and am glad that someone can hear that influence. I've always wanted to make heavy music beyond the genre. thanks again for support
