Great start, but I have to agree with Xalder1 about this. It's very unfinished. One point I will make though, is that your description sounds like you don't like constructive criticism. We have to acknowledge criticism whenever we make something. It's a good way to revive our works, as long as it's in a good way. Don't get me wrong though, this is NOT a bad remix, it just needs a little tweaking.

To DoobyTimePiece, no Green Hill Zone was not in the second Sonic game. You have it confused with Emerald Hill Zone. If you thinking about the Master System/Game Gear version of Sonic 2, there IS a zone that sounds like it, but it's called Green HILLS Zone. However, Emerald Hill Zone in the Sonic 2 Beta version was called Green Hill Zone.

Please finish it, as in add more of the actual theme, I would absolutely LOVE to hear the rest of it, clearly it's not bad, it's just sort of unfinished, and you carry the crappy intro too long for how long the entire thing is so far.

isent the green hill zone in the 2nd game like in dont know hold on ill boot up the emulator..... ok nevermindit the first one. but hmmmm it like you added a beat with the firts level melody. someof it was played. good job.
