Thanks alot for your support man. You kick ass~!\m/
Shoop da woop!
Happy 0 voting day you freako. Ahaha. Well, basicly, same critique as speedy. Drums were too quite. Cool riffage though. It's get's pretty nice and melodical after the intro. Could be something nice for a full song with lots of OMGS and LOLLS.
Thanks for your vote, DarKsidE555! You voted 0 for Tuesday's Hole, raising its score from 0.00 to 0.00.
Yeah the melodics are quite cool if you have good speakers or headphones. Anyways man, I know what you "sink" about with the 0 voting...so yeah. happy tuesday motherfucker!\m/
Mmmm... food.
I gave you 10's for everything other than clarity just to celebrate a day of 0-rating, haha. But yeah, like everyone else is saying, the clarity is pretty rough. I am not sure if you're compressing the drums or what, but they are pretty hard to hear. I was able to hear the guitars okay though.
I am not sure if you still use Cubase, but here's possibly a few times. First, make sure you make all of your drum/backing tracks and know what you want to play (duh). Next, open Cubase and don't bother doing anything to the drums, they should be fine. Make sure your guitar tone is how you like it and as clear as possible. When you put your microphone up to it, I suggest making sure that the tip of the mic is touching the netting in front of the speaker's cup. You typically want it as close as possible. Of course after all of this you just simply hit the record button. One you do all of this, your two final steps would be to select all of the guitar tracks and go to "Audio", "Plugins", "Dynamics", "MultibandCompressor", and then select the preset that says "Electric Guitar". That should be the only thing that needs compressing. I have been taking these steps for my own junk and I think it's working awesome. Some other things that may help is putting a "noise gate" on all of the tracks other than drums to eliminate any background noise or amp noise. Then if you recorded two guitar tracks, I found that panning each of them anywhere between 50 to 70 percent either way works great.
I'm sorry if that's a bit much for you. But it's what I do and with the terrible computer microphone I use for recording anyway it still works really well. If you do try all of that out, good luck! See ya, man.
Thanks "tips"! ahha. I do use cubase...but not in the same way. I direct record. For this particular track...I didn't really do anything...I just wanted something quick to celebrate the day. I made this tune for fun a while back..but deleted it. It only took me about 20 minutes to re create...but thanks for the 10 on effort! haha.
With cubase...I direct record...use guitar fx for my distortion. I lay all my tracks into cool edit pro. With my next few songs..which are almost complete...I import all the tracks into cubase. The guitar tracks with the distortion, I lay a setting over them from guitar rig. Its a clean setting that takes away the muddyness of the original distortion, but leaves the heavyness of the sound. I may put a W.I.P. on sheezy for your ears!!..haha. anyways...I fix up those...using the Vocals setting on the multiband compressor. It has 4 bars rather than 3.
Anyways, like I said...I didn't do any of that cool stuff with this...infact the song I really wanted to upload was too big...and I didn't want to kill the quality. So some Pooo for the downraters.
Thanks for the review man.\m/
Well
Your drums were too quiet again. Other than that nothing to really say about the short tune.
but you could hear the guitar, right?lol.
Thanks man. Just celebrating Tuesdays' mass 0 voting day!!1
Hmmm.......
wudve been much better if u hadn;t added (or maybe it was accidental) the almost out of ear rrange fizzing. you couldn't hear the guitar hardly! but the tune and idea were good
i don;t even know whaat that meanz!\m/
