Here is the instrumental version of Time is a Fickle Thing. Just in case anyone wants to listen to just the composition itself. I've also added some piano work and a few double bass tremolo notations. Enjoy and as always tell me what you think. All comments are appreciated, especially criticism. <3

I like the poem from the other version but this works well without hearing the words. As a composition, I like the ideas. The only thing I think you would benefit from is having either better music libraries at your exposure or just some more practice at mixing. But you have a good sense of story telling/structure to your work, which is even harder to teach when it comes to harmony so stay encouraged :)

Grandvision responds:

Thank you friend. I appreciate the honesty, and a review that looks at the emotional aspects more so than the technical. I am still trying to learn orchestration and only recently have began doing mixing, mastering and EQ on my work, never gave it much thought beforehand. My instruments are very outdated but that's because of my OLD PC, I use what I can for that is all I can do at the time. A musician is usually poor, especially indie ones. :P

Great! Nice Mix, nice composition and really well arranged. I get some Hans Zimmer vibes, very cinematic and emotional! Just great! U got urself a new fan for sure!!! ( I feel like this kind of genre doesnt get the appreciation it would deserve on here, keep it up!!)

Grandvision responds:

Thank you so much for such a kind comment and comparison to Hans Zimmer. I personally don't listen to his music, apart from his older works such as Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Thank you for following me, except some new stuff soon. This kind of music is definitely under appreciated in this day and age, but I don't blame people, other new fresh genres have kicked in that are popular and modern. Still you can make some great music with orchestration, these instruments have been around for centuries.
