This isn't exactly synthwave. It might be synthwave inspired but it lacks alot of character.

For example in your Frequency range, the higher pitches aren't sitting closer to the middle.

It needs to cut off a bit from the low end and high end to achieve that sort of effect you find in synthwave during that time.

As for the percussion, the snare and kicks are close but still need a bit more tweaking.

But the real detractor here is that droning fill. There's no switch-up or alteration to the fill your using.

There's an interlude in the middle but no slow-uptake (such as putting your kick-snare without the fills to play on for even 4 bars before going into a full verse again)
