This is part of a series of videos I'll be doing, playing songs I recorded whilst travelling in 2011. This was written whilst staying in Chicago for a couple of weeks. I tried to sleep at a hostel lounge for free as much as possible, but on a couple of nights I had to sleep the streets.
There was a crackhead that would often sit across the other side of the road, smoking at his pipe and having a conversation with a vacant building.
Me, sitting on the other side began to write this song.

I really like the kind of old-school Tenacious D kind of sound to the guitar, reminds me of Tribute and Wonderboy. Your vocals sound a little strange, and it may just be your voice, but at first it almost didn't sound like you were singing seriously. As it went on, though, I liked it more as I grew accustomed to it. Keep up the good work!
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
