yes
Here is my song for NGADM'15 round 1 / group stages.
First time I have mixed and mastered differently. I haven't changed that in years. To me, it sounds much better than my old songs although it's not as loud. I actually stepped away from the 'loudness war' thing. I used a lot of compression though.
I had so much trouble finishing this. I gave up on this song several times but since I had no time left to create something new I forced myself to finish this. And, I just don't think it's that good.
I am not really glad how it turned out, as for the second drop that probably doesn't fit at all but still... I kind of like that drop. I didn't want to literally copy & paste from the first drop since that would be too cheap. The transition at 2:09 is also not that good in my opinion. I tried multiple things to get it right... but nope.
I am curious what you think. Feedback is most appreciated!
I hope you enjoy most of it anyways! Thanks for listening (and reading this) (:

Level's aggravating, but the song's pretty good.
Great song for one of the most brain damaging level I played
is it named sidestep because its dubstep with sidechaining
No, just the meaning of the word itself
I never thought a dubstep could be so relaxing and kinda satisfying. Nice!
