Yikes, the nightmare is over. This is a "dubstep" remix of the song <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae0nwSv6cTU">Birdland</a>, by Weather Report, and is also one of the songs I played in my middle school jazz band. (I love the logic they had - I told them I played both piano and drums well, so they put me on vibes. Geniuses.)
I wanted to get the dubstep song over with quickly. I'm not good at making dubstep. Simple as that. I enjoy listening to it and awesome effects and all that, but making it just isn't my thing (especially because you can't copy and paste automations in Garageband). I'm also pretty bad at making creative dubstep-py effects - some of the sounds here are pretty atrocious. Also, I got sick while writing this, so that was a hassle as well. Sadly, this is a pretty half-assed song, but at least it's done, and I can move on to better things.
Even though this is mostly a flop, I still am quite proud of some things. I think the sound design here was pretty nice, and it's always fun arranging things. The good news about this song is that I can only go up from here, right?

Awesome! I am working on this song in the middle school jazz band I'm in! We started it! I would love to use this in one of my levels! Awesome job. Just not a lot of dubstep other than the wobble.

Hey, I played this back when I was in middle school jazz band too! Sure, you can use in a level if you want. I guess I could've added more dubstep elements to the song, but I was a bit pressed for time and also wanted to make its composition similar to that of Birdland.

Oh, dude, that was... If be honest... Try harder next time if it possible. I know that it was hard for you but that was too soft dubstep. I mean that I have some "dubstep sence" and when I hear it my "dubstep sence" found nothing, exept "crow sream" and "woble".

It definitely wasn't a very good effort at dubstep. I'm not very good at it, and I wasn't in that much of a composing mood when I made it. :P

Dubstep ey? Now that is a very difficult genre for me to create any songs in, so I can totally understand the struggle behind making this. Naturally, as I'm sure you understand, this isn't the greatest dubstep song I've heard :D
I still think you did quite a good job, considering this is, as far as I know, your first attempt at creating something like this. The normal musical aspects of this piece are good and sound very much like you. The dubsteppiness though is as expected, a bit weird, even for being dubstep XD
You obviously lack a good dubstep library, which makes creating dubstep even more difficult. The effects you used were pretty decent. That "yeaaah" sounding noise was pretty funny at first, but almost got a bit irritaiting as it was repeated... A lot. Good job with the glitchiness in it though!
I always love listening to covers; it's so fun comparing them to the original. And wow is this different from the original :'D
That (brassy?) sample at the breakdown (0:43) sounds pretty horrible by itself I think, hahha, but maybe it's just me :p
There is one sound in this song that couldn't be beaten by anything though! That crow scream at 1:23 is awesome XD (I get it - Birdland).
Anyhow, a good attempt at least :p
Much better than anything dubstepish I could manage to create, and I would never even dare put what I made out there, so you're already several steps ahead of me! :D

I guess it was meant to be irritating. The novelty probably wears off by the second one because of the bad quality of it, and that continues pretty much throughout the entire song. :D

I'm glad this is different enough. Covers are something I really enjoy doing and am definitely going to do more of in the future.
