Instead of letting this song gather virtual dust, I thought Newgrounds, and the world should be able to enjoy it. Newgrounds creators should be able to relate to the song better than any other community online. :)
This song was for the unreleased Drawcade demo in 2008. That version of the project has been canceled.
From trying to make a painting game with joyous trees and fluffy little clouds for the Wii in 2006, to developing a Nintendo DS Drawcade/Drawspace prototype for learning how to draw shapes, letters and comic characters, these projects taught me a lot about independent game development and studio management. Fail faster, learn, adapt, reboot again and again.

Pretty good song! Very nice lyrics that express imagery, and the flow of them was real nice. Nothing in that area seemed out of place. Amanda, you have a very nice voice, and you sang very clearly. Yet, you need to work a bit more your notes. In a few places you sound a bit off-key.
Guitar was great, very nicely played.
As for the mixing, the guitar's volume should be turned down just slightly. In about two or three places I couldn't hear Amanda's singing well. Aside from those things, this is good!
