Did you perform both the violin and the piano parts? If so, you did fantastic! Just a couple minor timing issues, but very nice overall. I would love to hear this orchestrated. <3

wonderful, although i can't really hear the anger of this man. The song doesn't end really well, but that's my personal opinion maybe that was the effect where you was going for.
You've written this piece with (i dunno if that's the right word) a nice story after it. But i don't really understand you thinking that somebody would just start writing a song because his daughter died. When that's your first reaction, you must be crazy. But none the less, this is a really nice piece of music worth a download, a favorite and some more listens.

First off, the overall volume's a bit low, I would say raise it up

I think the melody and the flow of the song is its strong points. You can feel the touch of sadness and emotion oozing out of it :)
I also really like how you've made it minimal, not using too many instruments and overstretching it . That being said, it does start getting repetitive around the 1:50 mark. Try to work harder on finding the balance.
