This is the Overworld Theme for an NES Dragon Warrior styled game I am making.

Yes I know that 8-bit games are overdone, but it is a solo, maybe duo project I am working on, and I have plenty of ideas to still make the game unique.

I am limiting how many instruments are playing at once in these songs as for all of them only 4 instruments will ever be playing at once. I want the feel of these songs to be as genuine as possible, and NES songs only ever had 4 instruments playing at once.

And I am sorry, but I don't plan on making it a flash game, so don't expect it on the Portal, however... All music from the game is going to be uploaded here on Newgrounds!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this Overworld theme. I know it is a rather small loop, however so was Dragon Warrior's Overworld Theme, and on a funny side note.. I later decided to compare this to other overworld themes after writing it, and found a remarkable similarity between my melody line used here and Dragon Warrior's Melody Line. Enjoy!

Also, as a new rule... all of these songs are subject to change based on your reviews.. if you don't like it, let me know. Give me valid reasons, and I will take it into consideration. If the song fits the feel I want it to be, I see no reason to change it. But I always love to hear your opinions.
