Hello! This isn't really techno as techno tends to be much more focussed on pacing and rhythm and sound design and this piece is very melody based. So I think this would lend itself much better to progressive house or trance or maybe dutch house. What you're looking to do next is take this track somewhere, use the tune and sounds you have here as the thematic basis for a completely new section of the track - usually a drop where you cut the melodic elements and focus on drums and bass, or maybe you could change the chord progression and add a different melody. What you have here is a good build up but now you need to take it somewhere :)

Thank you, and I am going to make changes soon.

I like the speed, and the tempo at which you have set it. and the feel is spot on, but there is no build in it. and with no build up in a techno song, it just makes the melody stand out too much, and thus making it sound repetitive, having one or two pauses in the melody during a transition would fix this feel of repetition, or like i said have a build to it. but for me it just doesn't sound like a techno song, it almost sounds like a song with out lyrics. but over all i enjoyed it. oh and one last thing, don't be afraid to add some bass to it. not so much it becomes dub step... but enough that it adds a defined beat to it. this would give it a more techno feel to it.

Thanks for the tips
