This music is fantastic!
The sonority is of chinese music and it's very relaxing.
Got inspired after calling the Blizzard hotline and listening to hold music

it was the mists of pandaria expansion lol
This could definitely be intro music to a Dungeons and Dragons style computer game, or walking through the woods/abandoned camp/bank of a river. Definitely makes me picture Cloud from FF7 running around, all blocky and probably about to get attacked by a fishwolfpigsquirrel. It is repetitious, but I don't feel that it takes away from the work as a whole. I wouldn't put it on my MP3 list, but I would put it on a playlist when I was playing fantasy setting video games. I think the woodwind at the beginning and the looped harp are the parts that would stand out in my mind as the most memorable parts. I like the snare drum as well, and it's at a good volume. It builds a little tension without disturbing the preexisting flow of the song. Good stuff.
Hey :) I am not expert at this genre. Could maybe have more different type of those tryhard orchestral percussions and they could be more ambiant in background. March drum doesn't really work here IMO and sound too simple. All in all sound pretty cinematic and no major composition mistakes that I could hear so 5/5. Cheers .i.
This sounds like something that would be apart of a Settlers game. The track has that somewhat mystical, curious feeling accompanied by atmospheric tones that paint an image. It sounds like a journey.
The track does lack variation, though. Despite the excellent mixing, I feel as though the track doesn't really go anywhere. Perhaps make it more interesting with occasional energetic or uplifting orchestral sequences? Other than that, it sounds terrific!
I could imagine this piece being an awesome hotline piece from what it's based off of!
While it is simplistic, it works very well in the style of how this was composed. With the plucking sounding warm and the string's playing softly in the background it plays beautifully. Very well done.
