Worked for a while on this and lost interest...not particularly fond of the end, but I'm not motivated enough to change it.
I found the second half more appealing. The first half kinda felt a bit random and had no clear melody to me. I'm in love with that second half though. Maybe finding a bit more inspiration will help you get that sound that you and others are seeking.
The track definitely carries a lot of atmosphere and emotion, especially with the chords. The reviewer before this was right though, the track sort of seemed to drag on with the chords. They were perfectly executed, but the overall length was too monotonous. Don't get rubbed the wrong way, it simply comes down to preference. Loved the ending though, this could easily be added to an album.
I like the guitar playing, and the strings/harp are pretty good, too. I feel that the track meanders with the same chords too often with a song of this length - don't be afraid to break away from those chords, else the song gets too boring.
While there are breaks from the guitar action, I feel that the texture is too much of the same for too often. When you can drop the needle in multiple places in a song and not know where you are in a song at any point (due to the music sounding too similar) that means there's not enough texture variation to allow people to distinguish any movement in the song, so vary the soundscape a little bit
Otherwise, it's nice and relaxing.
