Skyrim Theme Remix : This is the Main Theme Remixed, ReArranged & ReOrchestrated by me for the Fans of Skyrim & The Elder Scrolls Games. Less Vikings, more Strings and Flutes plus more focus on the original Elder Scrolls Theme that was first heard in Morrowind...
The Theme had its debute in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Soundtrack
and was also featured as the Main Theme in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
and since it's been considered the Official Theme Song of The Elder Scrolls Game Series.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim also featured this theme but it was very underused and this is the very reason why i made this Remix !
The original Skyrim Theme is without a doubt a masterpiece i do not wish to replace it rather i want to show a new perspective to everyone that's grown to love this music.
The original doesnt need to be remixed, it's just perfect the way it is. But a few people felt the original soundtrack had not enough of the elder scrolls theme in the skyrim theme. So we have this alternate remix version that does things the original does not.
No audio clips of the original were used. Every sound, instrument and note that you hear has been carefully programmed and mixed by me.
This is part remix, part rearrangment and part self composed. Its meant to be seen more of an expansion rather than a copy. I do use some of the original material :
The parts and melodies at 1:07 - 1:38 and 2:00 to 2:30 are entirely self composed.
The first few seconds uses the intro harmonies of the original and then plays the official elder scrolls melody that debuted in Morrowind but is also used in the original skyrim theme.
Everything else is self composed that includes the backing harmonies, drums, bridge and other melodies featured in the music.
Original Music written by Jeremy Soule
Remixed, ReArranged and Orchestrated by Pascal Michael Stiefel
