This was sooo very well made! no wonder it sounded soo familiar, it was on the Harmony of a Hunter Album! I love it! Amazing re-composition! One of the best on the album!

I've been listening to this all day, I love it. The percussion and orchestral vocals make it really cinematic, I could see this playing to the credits of a [great] Metroid film if there ever was one. Brings back memories and creates all kinds of vivid visions of the world of Metroid for me.

Metroid was a big part of my childhood, between the ages of 5-13, super metroid being the first one I played on ma snes.

This is an amazing cover, love the little sound effects, the drums are amazing.
Everything else is good too. No problems with it that I can hear, or anything I can think to improve.

I think the orchestral and vocal elements are much stronger than the trance-like elements. I may be biased, because I strongly prefer orchestral style interpretations of this piece than trancy ones, but in this case I think it just flows better. That said, there are some moments in this piece (particularly around the 1:20 mark) where you blend them very deftly and it works extremely well. Your mastering, in particular, is awesome. One the whole I have to give you props, I can tell you have a lot of professional experience in MIDI composition. Nicely done.
