Still working with the glitch VST I downloaded. Wanted to experiment and see what it could do with percussion sounds. This thing is basically all drum sounds, but I'm kind of okay with that. What I used to consider the flaws of this track I now actually like.

Leave me a review and I'll do the same for you.

Review = 1 minute or less listening to the song, this is the whole deal, all the way through. Br4h it's very good, all the way. Srsly! A/S/L let's chat on AOL?!?!

This is fantastic, really. The main problem for me is the build-up at about a minute in sounds a bit like something that would be in some kind of cheesy electro-house song. It also could have been a little crazier afterward. This is a damn good track, though. What soft/hardware do you use?

buyj3llo responds:

Mostly stock FL sounds, besides the glitch plugin ; which is amazing, you would love it. Google "dbglitch" and it's the first result.

Brilliant use of sounds. Reminds me of Amon Tobin quite a bit. Also love the sub bass line. Do you crush your sounds using plugins? Sounds wicked.

buyj3llo responds:

I have a bit crusher on the main bass kick. And I think there may be a secondary bit crusher that pops in on the others sounds throughout the song. I forgot how many treatments I put on each individual sound.

Thanks for comparing it to Amon Tobin, that's a pretty high complement.

Like N-Form stated, This is a very unique sounding song which is why I gave a nine. I think the part at :58 - 1:28 should've had something there to help with the build up but it doesn't sould horrible the way it is now. Just keep up with what you're doing because it's not bad :)

buyj3llo responds:

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I wanted the part at 0:58 to be calm in order to contrast with the craziness of the rest of the song. But I can see how it falls kinda flat; it could totally be too boring while failing to build enough at the same time. I'll keep that in mind for next time, thanks.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
