My remake of Dreamscaper's Miniature Fantasy. Took years to perfect, thought the only proper place to put it would be where it originated.
If you're one of the ones who think this wasn't Dreamscaper's original mix check out this post http://dreamscaper.newgro unds.com/news/post/93022
I don't know what the deal with the LTM² is, guessing its an issue with the redesign.

You did a good job remaking this song, but all you did was remake the original note by note. You didn't take this song any further, you just made an alternate version. It was still enjoyable, but not all that different from the original.
Absolutely agree, that was what I was trying for. When I first heard this song I thought it would be impossible for me to ever come close to making it, so over the years I kept trying and this was the result.

The song carries a very solid rhythm and helps you relax a lot. Reminds me of some older house songs I've heard that had a good synth playing and the drums would sooth your mind and ease any tension you had built up over the day.
The synth sounds very pleasing and the delayed echo effect going across the channels gives that nice all around feel of just being relaxed. The drums are very relaxing and I like the combination of the hi hats and bass kicks constantly trading off with each other to keep the beat going.
The angelic chorus seems to be a nice touch and makes you feel like you are going on a mental adventure and just enjoying the world. Not sure if there is a bass here since the only bass I hear are the kicks.
Overall, very relaxing song, great work here.

Lovely balance and poise
I do like the way that this track grows as it progresses, gradually drawing you in and giving you time to get used to the slight changes, before firing another subtle change across the bows. A very well done tune, but I would suggest that either the gap between the changes is too large, or some of the changes were a little too subtle for this casual listener.
A nice take on the original, it could probably do with a little bit more of a bassline, to compliment the melody a little, as it seemed to be lacking in that department, almost as if on a 1960s radio, but without the static crackle, which makes it seem so... old fashioned.
The cymbal beat that you put in there (high hat, unless I'm mistaken) sounds nice, but like I said above, just adding a little more in the way of percussion (push the boat out, there are plenty of things that you can use from that section of the orchestra), to give variation and a little more body to the piece would certainly help your endeavour here.

Hi ListenToMyMusic
It's interesting that you have chosen to remake a track, because this means it's more about the reproduction of sounds than the actual composition itself. But I will try to make as accurate of a review as possible.
Based on the actual song, I can say that your repeated patterns are generally pleasing to the ear, but it lacks a certain fluidity that a lot of house/trance tracks have. You can hear the individual textures, but I'm not sure if they "mesh" well.
Your skill in mixing, etc. is pretty decent. I wouldn't say professional level yet, but getting there. Just keep learning stuff about EQ, compression, automation, etc. (not that I am that good at it either) but I can see you becoming a very good musician.
It's emotional, but it doesn't evoke extra-strong feelings from me. It seems like it's just exploring the same subject as a lot of other electronic music without providing a new and unique take on it. But at least it's not gimmicky or full of distractions, it has a nice structure.
The theme is semi-catchy, but it would help to learn some professional skills to make your mix "pop" more, or have more flow. Thanks for letting me listen to your nice tune.
Cool.
