""...deserved a metaphor for a review.""

The slow beginning is deceptive. Subtle, no doubt. Suddenly, the grungy guitars and fast-paced, distorted guitars invade the listener, taking him off-guard, stripping him of any defenses, and plummeting the unfortunate victim into a river of whitewater depth. Not a bad metaphor... I mean it. The grungy part of the song reminds me of a rugged river... and then suddenly, the listener is gentled into a delta in the river, a smoother part of the song where the drums remain... and a house-like genre is discovered. This song deserved a metaphor for a review.

"whoa!"

I was just looking through my reviews and I remember you'd left me a couple of good reviews, so I decided to take a stroll into the Indie section and check out good ol' pitters. I stumbled upon this gem of a track!

Let me tell you how ACE the pad in the beginning of the track is, man it really can make a mind wander. The drums that punch right through the mix are very well done, even if they don't vary much, they add a lot to the song. Very cool guitar part that comes in as well, I'm extremely impressed by this song! A very well done piece, it's a 5 and a download.

I really like the track, What did you use for the drums?

Author's Response:

Cheers grimace, nice short review there. the drums are taken form my sample liabary, theres about 8 loops which ive chopped up and shaped to my own accord with a lot of beat matching going on, this was before i had fruityloops to constrcut my own from scratch, it's hard work i tell thee.

keep coming bk as im always gotsomething going on.
