This is my first audio submission. I used the program Mixcraft 5.2 to create the virtual instrument tracks in this song; none of these are pre-made loops, I composed all of the music myself.
One of my friends said it reminded him of flying. The imagery I associate with it is someone trying to escape from a futuristic compound, getting cornered and nearly caught, then discovering another path to freedom. That's where I came up with the title. I particularly enjoy slow, climbing builds in emotion, and I hope that fact is at least somewhat apparent in this piece.

I thought that Vangelis- and Jarre-style music was a thing of the past. But I always liked their music, and I like this as well.
My only negative feedback is that the repetitions of passages with small variations sometimes border on becoming boring. In most cases you change the pace JUST before it becomes too much, but once or twice you overshoot it and have a few too many repetitions.

Good stuff
I know what you mean with the whole futuristic compound thing. Logan's Run, THX 1138, The Island. It's very robotic in parts, like there's huge machinery all around him, sort of like an Oddworld game. It's all very mysterious. I think it's a bit more euphoric than frantic or suspenseful though. Like you can just forget about being chased and marvel at the new places you've discovered.

Does remind me of flying, or sort of a lonely job in space just drifting and not having much to do. Good song
