I wrote this song in the style of a 90's "shoegazing" song, that is, big, distorted, trippy guitars with low-key vocals. Recently started listening to My Bloody Valentine recently, and it really inspired me, because this was one of my favorite genres of music and effecting a lot of how I write today.
Song was recorded in Mixcraft using Amplitude 3, Addictive Drums, and classic plugins. Enjoy.
Hopefully the 7/8 doesn't trip anyone up, and if it does, I hope it's the good kind of trip. :)
Some tips...
Your mixing program is creating a BIG 'tick' when you start a new loop. You can improve the vocals by adding in some reverb and autotuning it. As well, there's nothing wrong with 7/8 timing, it actually works pretty well, and simple guitar chords are what made U2 into what it is. Don't give up on this, but I think it needs a reworking.

I like the guitar, drums, and everything instrumental... I have to say the vocals are not doing it for me... And I like this type of genre... Good song otherwise!
