It's almost five years now since he died...
Me and my grandfather lived in two different countries so we hadn't much time for each other and also when we met i didn't talk much.
One day a call that tells he got a heart attack, alive but in coma.
We reached him with the first plain to see him in that bad, a man that smiled everytime i saw him asking how i am, my life and i didn't want to talk about it whit him.. in that moment i realized we didn't know each other a bit and i felt myself somewhat guilty.
So i spend the days there to tell him my whole life in the hope he could hear me, day by day something new as my mother thought about what to do whit this situation.
Then the decision was made, put an end to this, to his suffering. He could awake someday but what if not? i wouldn't want to see him neither in this situation and i guess my mother knew what he would do so we decided to put the machine down and let him come to peace.

The days after that i spent the time on my own to think about everything and why this happened, why i am such an idiot.
School was going bad and not only that.
After i while i realized that he didn't want to see me like that so i tried to fix thinks up in the best way i could.

This is what the song means to me.. a true story.
