Enjoyable, but...

I'll have to be honest. It's good, and the tune is peaceful, it definitely describes what the title says. Only one problem. It doesn't really have any variety in it. It's the same thing, all the way until about 2:25. Then that one variance ends. :| It's extremely repetitive, and while it works for video game music, I can't help but think that it could be improved...

More amazing ambient music!

How do you do it? How do you make such gorgeous songs? Your music is really the first thing I faved when I joined Newgrounds slightly over half a month ago and don't regret it. I'm left clueless and looking for a DAW that can do something like this. --- Er, the review, right. There's never much I can criticize about ambient music as I don't know how to make it, but I'll still try.

I lurve this tune so much. The strings going "da daaaaaaa, da daaaaaaa" sound like they were ripped (or to be more polite, "sampled" :D) straight from some romantic Disney flick in terms of quality and sound, if maybe just a wee bit out of place in the overall mix. The other elements in the back sound glorious, though, no doubt. They're very soothing and flow with more grace than even Brian Eno's work - a huge compliment in case you never heard of the guy.

What I don't like so much is how this drags on a bit. I truly adored your track Explore 8 because it both set a mood and changed the melody up in a very interesting manner about halfway through. This song: not so much. But it sets a mood, a very good mood, and I can easily imagine it being in a cheesy 80s film or as an ending theme in a flash - something I can't really say about my own music. Derp.

Not much else I can say other than that the mixing on this is beyond words. Perfectly balanced bass, midrange, and treble: Pale Blue Dot all over again.

5/5 9/10, and left wanting for more.
