I haven't composed in a while, but it's finally summer. So, I opened up Finale 2007 and wrote down the music as it spilled out of my imagination. The result of today's improvised/free composing is contemplative and solemn.
What image does it conjure in your imagination? Can you think of a scene that the music might accompany?

EDIT: I reuploaded this with a slighter more realistic piano sample.

Amazing and Soothing.....
D- Sun uses alot of your music in his works huh?
To my knowledge, he has used three of my pieces before. Sadness and Sorrow v2, Story Left Untold, and this one. So not a lot, but I'm happy to have any of my pieces in his productions. :)
Thanks for the review!

Just beautiful, for me this is a masterpiece with it's fluidity and emotion.

I've listened to a few of your pieces, and this is my assumption: It seems that you're one of the kind of people that, when they begin to play an instrument, they forget to play normal music and just kinda let their soul flow out into something indescribably deep, sentimental, and remarkably easy to listen to. Please never lose that creative spark.

That's actually pretty accurate...When it comes to piano, I know maybe four actual pieces of music, and everything else I play is improvised. I sit at the piano and let it flow out. Most of the time it is very mellow, thoughtful music like this. It's not particularly complex or driving, but it's me. Thank you so much for your review. :)

Beautiful work. Hell, I don't know how to describe my feeling and how great is this piece. I must be unfroze myself and turn off the loop, just to finish to review (crap, not a full review, whatever).
Just a wow.
Listening to this a few days after I composed it, I became convinced that it was horrible. I used Joe Hisaishi's piece Sixth Station as an inspirational template when composing this and felt like it didn't compare. It's odd how sometimes something that you consider to be a failure can end up becoming popular and well-received.
I realize now that I was being too hard on myself and that it wasn't constructive comparing myself to Mr. Hisaishi in such a manner. I even like this song now, though positive reviews such as yours helped me to reevaluate the piece.
Thanks for another review Norske. I'll have to drop another one your way sometime soon.

Okay, i know that when i review i acctually do a long and "well-written" post, but this one can only have a phrase to describe it:
Error 404: flaws could not bve found in the masterpiece
5/5 10/10
This made me actually laugh out loud. Thank you!
